Write a Chorus in 10 minutes.

You can either pull a chorus idea from a prior free writing exercise, or use a prompt from below.

Your chorus can be as simple as a single word or phrase sung over and over. Or if you want to rhyme it you can use the XAXA rhyme scheme. Don't feel like you have to take yourself too seriously.

Example:

I went back to my day 56 writing prompt and picked the first two words from the free write: "Beige carpet." This is what I came up with.

Prompts:

Closed Doors: What’s behind the door? Why is it closed?

Fire-starters: Write about building a fire.

What You Don’t Know: Write about a secret you’ve kept from someone else or how you feel when you know someone is keeping a secret from you.

Missing You: Write about someone you miss dearly.

Convenience Store: Write about an experience you’ve had at a gas station or convenience store.

Recycle: Take something you’ve written in the past and rewrite it into a completely different piece.

Sharing: Write about sharing something with someone else.

Advertisement: Write using the slogan or line from an ad. Pick one from below or google any large company:
