"...it will cut through the noise for those who need to hear it."
I had just posted an amateurish music video to Facebook—a slideshow of photos from a hike with my son, and a song I had written that day. Usually, when I post something like that, I get a few likes and hearts, and maybe a generic comment. But this particular friend, Anne, said that my song was the very thing she needed that morning when she woke up. I told her how much I appreciated her words. I also lamented about how I never know if what I post is reaching anyone.

"Participation is better than perfection."
–Bryan Odeen, 100 Days of Songwriting member
After these words came out of Bryan's mouth, I thought to myself, "Oh my god, in five words, he summed up my entire philosophy behind 100 Days of Songwriting."

"The more important a call or action is to our soul's evolution, the more Resistance we will feel toward pursuing it." –Steven Pressfield, War of Art.
I am so dang encouraged by the high level of participation happening inside the membership right now. We are on our seventh 100-day challenge since we started in the Spring of 2017. By day 60, the daily postings usually have waned, but we are still going strong! I am proud of everyone who is hanging in there.

We are hosting another open mic this Sunday, April 26th from 3-5pm (CDT)!
The last one was awesome. There were a few tech hiccups, but it's only going to get better as we get more fluent in ZOOM.
Here's what to do.

Have you tried playing or listening to music in a ZOOM video chat only to be deeply disappointed by the audio quality, and a little bit emotionally damaged by the whole experience?

Check out the Translitic Workshop with Erin Ivey. We did a several 10 minute timed writing exercises as a group. It was awesome! I left the silence in there so you can do the workshop right along side us if you were unable to make it in person. Enjoy!
